Snuggle Party

Last night I had a visitor crawl in to my bed. A handsome little man who likes to snuggle.

Good thing because I am an Expert Snuggler. I should really add it to my resume.

It's a talent really. Perhaps even a gift.

I slept well. He slept well.

I went to get out of bed this morning a little after 6 to shower. My bed partner groans "nooooo."

I said "It's ok sweet boy, go back to sleep."

"No, Mom. Come back. I need to snuggle with you."

Melt my heart. Who could say no to that. It was dark, I was still a tad sleepy and it was chilly in the house, so I sacrificed and climbed back in to bed with that sweet little boy and snuggled for another perfect half an hour.

Then, Mini #2 started bellowing and wanted to be let out of her castle. I went to get her and brought her back to my bed where the boy was still sprawled.

I put her between us and Mini #1 said "Mom, why does Mini #2 want to snuggle with us at our snuggle party."

"Well, if it's a snuggle party she wants to be invited. Why do you think she wants to be here with us."

Mini #1: "Because our snuggle parties are the best around."
