R.I.P. Dorothy

(these pictures were taken the day we brought Dorothy home to join the Molly Lou family.)

Our beloved Dorothy was taken from us during the night. She was such a wonderful fish.

We so enjoyed watching her swim in her tank, taking walks with her, cuddling up and reading a book together, painting, playing outside, and laughing with each other. Oh, I guess I was thinking of another pet. We REALLY did enjoy watching her swim around her tank!
We know that Dorothy the goldfish is in a happier place. We'll miss you.

Happy Favorite Day

Celebrate! It's Happy Favorite Day! Get excited...make your banner and start planning your Favorite Day celebration.

What exactly is Happy Favorite Day?

Oh, I'm so glad that you asked. It will be your new favorite holiday. You will look forward to it for weeks.

Most of you know about Good Will Grace and if you don't, you really should hop on over there and check it out. It is fantastic and my dear friend Whitney wrote a wonderful piece to be published on GWG and I am so grateful she did. You will have to go over there to read it and trust me, you'll love it.

She writes about her favorite "simple things" in her life. Mornings with Mom and Grandma's treasure chest junk drawer are two of them. These are really the important things in her life and not the material things that we all get obsessed with at times.

I have been thinking so much about this and have decided to create a "Happy Favorite Day" holiday in my home. On this special holiday, we will do those simple things that make "living so grand."

Immediately after reading this, I decided that I was going to write a list of my favorite simple things too. I am thinking I am going to do it twice a year. I am on the hunt for a special box that will hold my favorite things list. I am also going to get my family on board for this and have each of them participate too. What a fabulous keepsake "time capsule" to hold these lists and drawings. We can look back on these and relive these memorable portions of our life. It will be interesting to see which things change and which things remain as a constant favorite.

Now, enter this holiday. I love my life and I love all of those little things that Mr. Molly Lou, the minis, and I have and do each day. I am going to make a fun and creative banner that says Happy Favorite Day and we are going to spend the day together doing all of those simple things in our life that we love. If we want to spend the day reading a novel early in the morning when no one is awake, drinking coffee all day, making a birthday cake and blowing out the candles, reading Guess How Much I Love You 52 times, playing in the sandbox and getting sand in our hair, eating pizza, painting, pretending we are Leo, Annie, June and Quincy (The Little Einsteins) or Mickey and Minnie, singing and dancing in the kitchen and giving kisses then that's what we will do.

My favorite day always involved my family and spending the day together remembering what we have and how much we love each other is what it's all about.

Happy Favorite Day to you!! What will you do on your Favorite Day and what will write on your list as your simple things that make your life so grand?

"Yeah, the little things in life that make it livin'Are the little things in life that make it love"
~C.W. McCall's lyrics from "The Little Things in Life"

Have a great day!

Yes, yes we are folks! This week, we are combining the two for an explosive FIOF extravaganza.

We are getting quite the royal court going and look forward to crowning this week's QUEEN and PRINCESS who get fabulous prizes.

Email me your answers by Saturday at11:59 pm. Winners announced on Sunday. Even if you don't know any or all of them, it's fun to play and give it a go.

1. "Some men are Baptists, others Catholics. My father was an Oldsmobile man." (movie)

2."We gotta hold on to what we've got
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We got each other and that's a lot
For love we'll give it a shot!" (song)

3. "I will not rest until I have you holding a Coke, wearing your own shoe, playing a Sega game..." (movie)

4."And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
You know the night's magic
Seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight
Seems to shine in your blush..." (song)

5. "We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it." (movie)

6. "Be still like vegetables. Lay like broccoli. "(movie)

7. "A man walks down the street
He says why am I soft in the middle now
Why am I soft in the middle
The rest of my life is so hard
I need a photo-opportunity
I want a shot at redemption " (song)

GOOD LUCK! Have a great weekend.

Haphazard Thursday

Ok, so random thoughts time...

1-I am so freakin' behind today. I don't know what is wrong with me. I have written before about my OCD issues and how I like everything to be in line and ready in the morning. I woke up to no coffee, dishes in the sink, lunch not packed, and clothes in the dryer. I will be entering the mental facility soon.

2-My space key doesn't want to work. Think it's funny, it is REALLY $%^%!@ annoying. My thumbs seriously hurt from how hard I have to hit the darn key to make it work. This is really helping my day. If emails looklikethisfortodayanduntilitdecidestoworkagain,Isincerelyapologize. My friend A mentioned that it could be a secret code that cool kids use. GREAT IDEA! Let's all stop spacing our words.

3-Check out Good Will Grace today. My above mentioed friend Ashley has graciously allowed us to post something of hers...we love it. Be sure to follow us and tell a friend. Perhaps a little giveaway is coming GWG's way...

4-Last night at church, we met a new couple. Let's call them Joe and Jane. They had a little one, Jack. Anywho, Joe kept calling Jane "HONEYBEAR" throughout dinner and then after the bible study was over. "Honeybear, could you go get me some water. I'll stay with Jack." " Honeybear, do you think we ought to send Jack to the nursery during the study tonight? Tonight is the first night they are having one for the little ones."

Are you freakin' kidding me??? I thought it was funny the first time, like a joke, but noooooooooooooo apparently this is normal conversation for them and it doesn't matter that they are in public. If you have little pet names for each other, save it for home. Others around you may throw up their dinner if they have to listen to that. I truly do not have the mental stabilitiy today to completely go off on how ridiculous that truly is. It makes me laugh to think of what Mr. Molly Lou would do if I called him "pookie"*** in public.

(That was totally an example, I do not nor will I call my husband pookie.)

5-Run, or just click quickly over to MLG. We have been working so very hard adding new products and getting our Holiday 2009 page up and running. You will be amazed at what we have accomplished. There are so many fantastic and unique things there. We hope to have everything added by Monday. Keep your fingers crossed.

6-We have just added a new line of bag tags. Perfect for diaperbags, gym bags, luggage, strollers, back packs, overnight duffles, and more. A unique use for them is to add them to packages to use as gift tags and a little extra treat to the package. You decide front and back personalization. They come wrapped in a clear bag with ribbon...perfect little surprise and treat for someone. More to come. Holiday themed ones too! TODAY ONLY, they are BUY 1 GET 1 FREE! They are already marked 10% off to welcome them to MLG. We will refund your money after payment has been made. YAY!

(Blogger turned my photo and won't go back. AHHHHH! So, head exercises, tilt your head to the left. Sorry!)

7-I think I need a separate secret blog to discuss certain family, friends, and neighbors. I recently found out how many blog stalkers I have that don't comment, but lurch this blog, so clearly I can't dish about them here. I guess for now, certain friends will have to offer therapy sessions via email, phone, and text.

I need to go soak my thumbs now. Have a great day.

For Hire*

{Editor's Note: Worthwhile Wednesday will be temporarily delayed this week. Remember a few weeks ago when we just pretended it was Wednesday another day. You know like deja vu or Groundhog Day? I know that perhaps Wednesdays aren't the ideal day to do again, so I will make it worth your while. My apologies.}

I am looking for someone to help me in this crazy life that I find myself living. Below are some of the details, but not limited to only these tasks.

*Clean my house-including sweeping/mopping, bathrooms, dusting, dishes, etc.
*Clean up toys so that people don't break their neck as they try to walk around-this will probably happen at least 3 times a day.
*Wash, dry, fold, and put away all laundry
*Cook and clean up all meals (and try to solve the issue of Mini #1 eating nothing and then throwing a temper tantrum when you fix what he actually said he wanted)
*Mow the grass (front & back), weed beds, finish cleaning out beds in backyard
*Deal with pool maintenance
*Fix toys when they break for the 45678 time
*Play and educate two extremely cute, loud, smart, stubborn, funny, and energy filled minis
*Work for the realtor man (emailing, phone calls, appointment set ups, flyers, presentations)
*Work for MLG and help it grow (THIS ONE IS FUN)
*Deal with my husband
*Go to the dreaded grocery store
*Put me on a diet and exercise plan without me actually knowing it. Bonus pay if you could actually somehow lose the weight for me.
*Pay bills and organize files that somehow got completely out of control over the past three moves this year.
*Read for leisure and have the ability to give me a synopsis of the books that I have sitting on my nightstand and so desperately want to read.
*Stalk the Kate Spade website for great deals (also, search for additional funds to purchase said deals or else this task is kind of pointless)

I have been searching, wiggling my nose, blinking and crossing my arms, clicking my heels together on my sparkly red heels, and I even tried letting my hair down while waiting for a prince to save me.

Would you believe that NOTHING is working and I'm tired ya'll.

*Salary is negotiable as long as you can be paid by MLG products, food, homemade crafts, and on certain days my children and/or husband.

Submit all resumes via email to me and I promise you will be my new BFF!!! Better enter soon as I'm sure that there will be quite the applicant pool for this prestigious job.

WE SURVIVED!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes today and words of wisdom, friendship, and of course humor. Mini #1 survived and enjoyed his first day of school. When I went to go get him, he jumped up from his spot with his bag and said "I'm coming back."

The teacher seemed pleased and he got a green smiley face for good behavior. (I'm sure all the kids do...no one wants to be the bitchy teacher on the first day who gives the kid a bad smiley face...start off the year on a pleasant note.)
He told me all about it on the way home and when we pulled in to the driveway he said "Mom, you can stop talking now." Perhaps I asked too many questions?????
Here are his first day of school shots. The second one, he insisted on doing his funny face. Isn't he funny?!?!?! The last is Mini #2 on her brother's first day of school...such a momentous occassion for her! :)

Today is the day...

So, today is the day that Mini #1 starts preschool. I am excited for him, but also beyond stressed. I know this seems ridiculous and in reality, it TOTALLY is. If you have been my friend in Blogland for any amount of time, you know that I stress over the silliest things and have OCD.

I really need to get over this...I mean he will only be gone three days a week from 9-1. One of the reasons that I am totally stressing is the fact that over the past few weeks, I have really noticed how big he is and how mature he is acting. There are no traces of baby left in him anymore. Sometimes I look at him and am just in awe of this fantastic, smart, funny, sensitive, and darn cute child. He was so painfully shy for so long and over the past few months he has really worked hard to come out of his shell.

Back to the stressing: I used to be a teacher and know all of those first day jitters and nerves, but I also know how other children can be. Is my stress because I am all worried about how mini #1 will feel?

Well, yes, but most are superficial and involve what the other children will think of him. I am worried that he won't make any friends, fall down and others will laugh at him, spill something all down his shirt and others will laugh at him, decide that tomorrow is the perfect day to start picking his nose, someone will take a toy from him and he has a meltdown, won't want to come inside from the playground and does his oh so lovely "mad voice" at his teachers, will forget to pull his pants up when he comes out of the bathroom (the child loves to be naked) and the kids will laugh at him, be the loser kid that has to have a time out on the first day, and trust me the list goes ON and ON and ON.

Just breathe...

I'll keep you posted and post a picture later today. And, since you were all in suspense wondering about the lunchbox...we did find the Thomas one that he wanted. It was a much bigger ordeal than anticipated, but ALL ABOARD for the lunchbox train.

Have a great day!

Did You Go Swimming?

Who watched last night's Shark Tank on ABC???

FANTASTIC...I loved it.

So, the 411 on it is that novice entrepreneurs that make different things come and pitch their ideas to "the shark tank." The sharks are five business people:Barbara Corcoran (the real estate woman on The Today Show),Kevin Harrington, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John (The FUBU founder), and Kevin O'Leary. You pitch your idea and then the sharks requesting a certain amount of money and stake in your company to help "take it to the next level." The sharks offer feedback in a funny, uncomfortable, and downright good business sense way and they can negotiate their offerings. It was very interesting, entertaining, and chock full of a few uncomfortable moments with the judge that is this show's version of Simon Cowell.

My favorite line of the night was "If you were in one of my business classes, I would soak you in water and when you spoke I would use the cow prod on you." It was something like that and I need to file that one away and perhaps it would come in handy again during a conversation down the road.

I don't know what will happen when the great fall lineup comes back, but I will definitely dip my feet in the shark filled waters next week.

Hope you all had a great weekend. Can't wait to hear about them.

PS-We also watched Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami and I feel a good bit dumber. Don't ask me why we watched or even left it there. I think we were so tired and too lazy to actually change the channel and find something different to watch.

Figure It Out Friday~Music Edition

This week's Figure It Out Friday was a great success. Thanks to all of those who entered and those who sent funny comments over too.

The answers for the lyrics:

"My Girl" by The Temptations

"Beautiful Day" by U2

"Only Wanna Be With You" by Hootie and the Blowfish

"Come Monday" by Jimmy Buffett

"Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp****

****Interesting Tidbit: Apparently John Mellencamp used the same line in two different songs. I also accepted "When Jesus Left Birmingham" as the correct answer to the last one as well. Same line...I guess if you find a good one, might as well use as much as you can. Next time you are on a gameshow, perhaps this will come in handy!

And now on to the winners. All Hail the Royal QUEEN and PRINCESS.

The Queen for this week is RNJen and the Princess is Michelle aka Stuttering Shell!

YAY! Congratulations girls! Email me and we will get you set up with your prize! Stay tuned for next week!

Snapshot Saturday~Evidence

If you missed my post here last week about my bad mothering with Mini #2 and my much more relaxed behavior this go 'round-there is now evidenbce.
I present Exhibit A: Mini #2 having a snack on the floor. Oh, this is going to haunt me years down the road.

Have a great weekend. Don't forget to enter the Music Edition of Figure It Out Friday. You have until midnight!
Also, be sure to check out Good Will Grace...we would love for you to join us.

Figure It Out Friday~Music Edition

So, I am bringing another edition of "Figure It Out Friday," but with a twist!

That Girl who started my love for blog trivia on her Trivia Thursday was back in action yesterday and I am ashamed to say that it was the first time I didn't know the answer. I was so upset...I even tried to find the answer on the internet for my own sanity as I couldn't wait until next week for the answer. I got the inside scoop and once I heard the answer, I kicked myself as I should have known it.

I decided to do Figure It Out Friday again, but instead of doing movies this week, we are doing songs. Bust out your musical thinking caps and get ready. To enter, email the answers to the five song quotes below. You must answer either the song title or the artist, but if you can get both correct for all, I will double your entries. All answers will be compiled and the winner, the QUEEN will be chosen randomly on Sunday.

Last week's prize was a gift certificate to MLG and this week's prize is stationery set from Molly Lou Gifts. I know you are excited now!

1-"I don't need no money, fortune, or fame
I got all the riches baby, one man can claim."

2-"The heart is a bloom
It shoots up through the stony ground"

3-"You look at me
You got nothing left to say
I'm gonna pout at you until I get my way
I wont dance, you wont sing"

4-"I spent four lonely days in a brown L.A. haze
And I just want you back by my side"

5-"Let the bible belt come and save my soul"

Ready, set, GO! Don't forget to email the answers! Have a great weekend!

PS-thoughts on Project Runway or RHOA??? I almost spit my drink out when Kim said "Amen" when they were talking about the King Tut exhibit and those of high status wearig wigs. :)

Also, don't forget to check out Good Will Grace. Bit #2 today is "Dancing in the Rain." Join us and tell a friend!

Haphazard Thursday

You know, that time of the week you all love...RANDOMNESS! I am excited about some of the news today!
1- I have started a new blog, Good Will Grace! I am very excited about this and hope you all will jump on the bandwagon and tell a friend. This has nothing to do with MLG or me. You can read in more detail, but I have always wanted my children to grow up to be GREAT people and citizens of the world. We all can benefit from little life lessons and bits of grace. I want to make it fun and a place for all of us to compile our life lessons and thoughts. Share your ideas, thoughts, anecdotes, pictures, quotes, or even jokes. This can be an ensemble place for all of our children and friends to come to see these important things. Check it out, let me know what you think, and tell a friend. Grab a button and help spread the word. GWG is on Twitter too. Follow us @Goodwillgrace.

2-Mini #1 is starting preschool next week. This is HUGE for us and for him. He is super excited and is most excited about getting a lunchbox. He has been telling EVERYONE about it and what he is going to take in his lunch. I have pretty much avoided it until the point, but he needs it and it will be good for him. He will just go three days a week, Tuesday-Thursday from 9-1. I'll keep you posted.

3-We have some more new members of the family: Sam, the snake; Sam, the spider; Gertrude, the ghost (she is friendly though and doesn't say Boo!); Sam, the crab; Sam the monkey. Again, are you sensing a pattern here? These animals kind of come and go. Thank goodness that we don't have to set a place for them at the dinner table. They kind of come and go, but definitely are recurring. Ready for the count: 1 husband, 2 minis, 2 imaginary friends (Darby and Sam), 7 imaginary animals (let's not forget the three eyed and four eared cat), 1 stuffed dog pet, and 1 actual pet (Dorothy, the fish). GRAND TOTAL: 14 plus me! I need to move out. Anyone have a room to rent?

4-Thanks for all your kind words of encouragement about Mini #1 and the zebra print shoes. He got out a red patent leather pair of heels today and said he needed to go dancing. Should I be worried about that? Shortly after, he was playing with his trains and dump truck. I shared with Mr. Molly Lou some of your words of wisdom and no offense, but he wasn't as thrilled with it as I was. He is a tough sell sometimes.

5-While I am thrilled that Project Runway is starting tonight, I am sad about Real Housewives of Atlanta. At the Molly Lou house, we don't have that fancy DVR stuff that some have. I guess I will just have to watch the Atlanta wreck during the commercials. Aside from Kelly Ripa, I want to be Heidi Klum and I believe that Tim Gunn and I were meant to be friends. :)

6-DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN GET A PERSONALIZED MESSAGE FROM TIM GUNN??? It if fantastic. Click here to do it. Tim Gunn can call or email your bff, buddy, fashionista, Dad, etc. Go now. You will love it! I sent one and I also did one for Mr. Molly Lou and let him listen to it on my computer and he wasn't as excited as he should have been.

7-Word verification is really starting to annoy me. We all know its purpose, but I feel that the "words" are getting even more bizarre than usual. Southern Living Preppy Style and I were talking about writing a story and including some of our most bizarre "words." We are compiling a list. Wouldn't it be fun to do a giveaway with funny stories or poems written with these word verification things and then choose the funniest one??? Stay tuned!

Have a great day. Hop on over to Good Will Grace. We would love for you to share with us.

Should I Be Alarmed?

How much do you think this will cost me in therapy for Mini #1 down the road? Should I be alarmed by this scenario?

He went to MY closet and pulled them out of a box and them came walking in to the living room. I happened to have my camera on the end table and snapped this picture to scare away the girls many years from now. At least he has good taste with the shoes although they do clash with the outfit.

In his defense, he did say "I need to go outside and ride my bike now."

And yes, he did keep the shoes on as he went outside, but quickly ditched them when he couldn't get up the driveway in them. His father was THRILLED when he saw the pictures when he got home last night.
Have a great day! Don't forget to enter our giveaway. Details at left!

The Lineup is Here!

You know that I am a HUGE Dancing With the Stars fan! I mean, I just can't get enough. Mr. Molly Lou is a fan too (although don't mention it to any of his friends)!

It starts September 21 and I am actually confused about the new stars and just don't exactly know what all my thoughts are on this.

Here are the new peeps:
(Cue Dancing with the Stars oh so suspenseful music and bob your head!)

Aaron Carter
Natalie Coughlin
Mark Dacascos
Tom DeLay
Macy Gray
Ashley Hamilton
Melissa Joan Hart
Kathy Ireland
Michael Irvin
Joanna Krupa
Chuck Liddell
Debi Mazar
Mya
Kelly Osbourne
Donny Osmond
Louie Vito
Ok, I am not going to go in my full rant or deep feelings on some of these "stars," but let's just highlight a few:

Debi Mazar???? Seriously...
Tom Delay-NO ONE else was available?
Ashley Hamilton-if he is anything like his dad, he is going to love the spray tan. Anyone remember when he was married to Shannen Doherty for like a day and a half? Apparently he is a musician, songwriter, AND comedian. Interesting!
(Thanks abc.com for the lovely photo.)

It's Full of Protein and Iron, right???

Any mother will tell you that you are much more relaxed after your first child. Not that you don't care or worry or love the next children less, you are just more relaxed and know what to expect. You get the routines, you know they will in fact survive the little bumps, diaper rash, sugar, and occassional crying fit.

My two minis are total opposites. I mean Mini #1 screamed for the first six months of life, doesn't like to sleep, is a picky eater, walked at 8 1/2 months, was painfully shy until a few months ago, loves books...just to name a few. With Mini #2, she loves life and is just happy all the time, loves to sleep (we used to have to wake her up sometimes as an infant to eat), and will eat anything you put in front of her, isn't walking yet but really wants to, will go to anyone and is quite the social butterfly, she would rather eat books than actually listen to them, and is just a much more relaxed and laid back child.

With Mini #1 I was very nervous. Purell was my BFF and everyone's hands were washed and sanitized. I used to be so tense anytime he was held by someone else. I worried everytime he cried. Mr. Molly Lou worked internationally, so it was just he and I. He was a terrible sleeper and had such awful colic that some nights it was ALL I could do to get both of us to sleep.
At the beginning of this post, I mentioned being more laid back this "go round." When Mini #2 was about 5 days old, Mini #1 dragged her around our king sized bed and a few days later lifted her up on the bed and then dropped her (it was only a few inches.) Did I freak out???? No.
Mini #2 LOVES to eat dirt, bark, and sand. As much as I try to keep her out of it, she loves it. She could gnaw on a piece of bark all day long. Do I freak out???? No. (If I did, we could never go outside. When we are in the pool, she would much rather crawl out and play in the dirt and grass around the pool deck area.)

The other night after dinner, I was sweeping the floors and cleaning up. I went to do something else and Mini #2 crawled to my pile and picked out a piece of asparagus that she decided she did in fact want to eat. Certainly a little dirt and other crumbs couldn't hurt. Did I freak out????? No.****

Mini #2 is determined to walk, but just can't take the plunge. She is so close and is great at standing independently. She is also getting much faster at scooting all over the place not to mention the speed crawler she has become. She tends to fall and/or bang her head at least 23 times a day. Do I freak out???? No.

She loves bath time and she loves taking a bath with her brother. They normally play very nicely together in the bath. She tried to stand up in the bath tub and Mini #2 was trying to swim a lap in the tub and knocked her over. Did I freak out about this???? No. (I started clapping and she smiled and continued to play with her bath toy. However, lap swimming has been banned from the tub and is only allowed in the pool. )

Are you sensing a pattern here? I adore Mini #2. I can't imagine life without her. She is such a wonderful and loving child, but I am much more relaxed (or this post should just be Terrible Mother Part: 56723) and know that she will be fine. I mean the dirt, bark, and sand are full or protein and iron. A few bumps on the head will only make her stronger and the asparagus on the floor only promotes my teaching of healthy eating. How many 10 month old children do you know LOVE asparagus???

I just worry about Mini #3 whenever his/her times comes. Perhaps I will just start serving his/her meals on the floor and just add a helmet as a permanent accessory for all the bumps and bruises that are inevitable. Lord help us if we have more children...poor things don't stand a chance.

(Mini #2 yesterday...she is darn cute and perfect! She is trying to climb up a chair.)
Have a great day! Don't forget to enter our Bitsy Creations giveaway. Ends Wednesday! See details at left on how to enter and tell a friend.

***In my defense, my floors and home are pretty clean. Remember that OCD I have discussed before? And, I did slightly freak out about that one!

And the QUEEN is...

Thanks to all who played the first ever Figure It Out Friday. This was fun and I was asked several times if we would do it again and we certainly will. You know I love a good trivia contest.
The answers to this week's quotes were:
1. The Breakfast Club
2.Hitch
3. You've Got Mail
4. Pretty Woman
5. The Devil Wears Prada
I love these quotes! We have decided to name a QUEEN and PRINCESS! The two newest royalty additioners were chosen randomly from the correct guesses. Cue some royal music!
Introducing...
QUEEN Nicole Lynn
Princess DeMo
All Hail to the Queen and Princess. I will email you about your prizes! Congratulations.
Happy Sunday!
PS: Sorry for the little comment mishap on Friday. It has all been taken care of and won't happen again. :)

Snapshot Saturday~

We didn't have a submission for this week's Snapshot Saturday, so I looked to my BFF (in my dreams) for some help. Kate Spade provided this week's picture (isn't she gracious?!) When we are chatting over lunch this week, I will be sure to let her know how much we all love the new clothes, shoes, and accessories and that you all have forgiven the dear folks over at Liz Claiborne for that AWFUL purple shoulder strap bag. You should have heard the phone call she made to the powers that be after I discovered that hideous bag. She had no idea and was just mortified over it. I am so glad we got that cleared up before someone was hurt.

Bounce back to reality, Molly Lou, bounce back.

Oh, sorry. So, I mentioned to Mr. Molly Lou a few of the items that I am currently drooling over and emphasized one particular pair of shoes that I MUST have for a wedding in October. He chuckled and not in the "Oh, we think so alike because I already purchased those for you because I thought you would look great in them. I love you so much sweetheart, love of my life" kind of way. When I mentioned that I was serious, I thought he was going to pee his pants. I will just have to step up my game a little.

I want this dress so much. I just adore it's classic look. I love the red tights, but know that these legs of mine would not look so hot with bright red tights adorning them.
I wish that I could pull off this style and pull off this look: polka dots, red jacket, yellow tights, orange bag. If I wore this, it would look like a skittles bag threw up all over me and I let the minis dress me. When written, it sounds ridiculous, but this just looks interesting and "cool" on this model out treasure hunting.
Have a great weekend! Don't forget to enter our Bitsy Creations Giveaway and I am taking answers to yesterday's Figure It Out Friday until the end of the day before I declare the Queen.

Figure It Out Friday

We all know that I am very easily entertained. I also love, love, love games, especially trivia games. I have so much useless knowledge floating around my head that it isn't even funny. Trust me, you want me on your Cranium or Trivial Pursuit team. (Well, maybe not Trivial Pursuit for the math or science questions). I also love movies which derives from my love of celebrities.

Anywhoo, I have a blog that I love and she does a Trivia Thursday. Each Thursday she has a contest where she gives a movie quote and you have to guess the right answer. And, there is a winner the following week. I love this...I am so easily entertained and excited. She didn't do it this week. Sigh. She was busy at work, which is completely understandable. I thought that we, blog friends, would step in and have "Figure It Out Friday."

Here is the deal. I have compiled 5 quotes from movies and you are to guess the movie. Each person that answers all five correctly will be put in to Random.org and a winner will be chosen.

You can be the queen of "Figure It Out Friday." That's right I said Queen! You'll also receive a fabulous surprise. I was totally meant to be royalty!

1. "I've got you for the rest of your natural born life if you don't watch your step."

2. "Any guy can sweep any girl off her feet, he just needs the right broom."

3. "The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. "

4. "You have that sharp, useless look about you."

5. "You don't deserve them,I mean you eat carbs, for Chrissake!"

Put your thinking caps on and GO!

Have a great weekend! Don't forget to enter our giveaway and tell a friend!

Haphazard Thursday

You know it is that day during the week when I admit my total randomness just list some of the random things in my head.
1-My name is Mrs. Molly Lou and I am a Kate Spade-aholic. I just can't get enough. Oh, how I love thee. Let me count the ways. I am totally in love with the new clothing line. I spend too much time thinking about these clothes that I will never have. I need to have these new clothes...I love them and can't get enough of just drooling over them. Not just clothes, of course there are fab bags, jewelry, accessories, oh my! I think one of the things that I would want the most is to have effortless style. Obviously, I need the money to buy all of the clothes and accessories to acquire this. I love timeless clothes and the new Kate Spade line does just that! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

2-You all know that I am lizard and snake hater. I get completely freaked out by them and can't Really anything slimy or bug related. Let's be honest here, I don't have a real deep love for animals. Let me just tell you the most disgusting thing that happened this morning. I was up before Mr. Molly Lou went to work and I look over at a small table near the fireplace and a wingback chair. On a frame of my beautiful family is a FROG. Yes, a live icky looking frog. It wasn't the frog like the frog prince, it was flat and just gross. I silently freak out. Luckily, Mr. Molly Lou was right there, scooped him up and hurled him outside. Talk about "heebie jeebies." All day, I was glancing around. Ugh. Mr. Molly Lou assured me that it got in through the door and Mini #1 doesn't see the need to shut the door. EVER.
Twenty minutes from Target and the mall AND frogs...how I love the life in the country!
3-Ooooh, I love a good train wreck and completely mindless television. Well, folks that is definitely The Real Housewives of Atlanta. I have discussed before how I love the Real Housewives series and never liked the Atlanta one, but I can't stop watching. I was reading in People and there is going to be a wig snatching fiasco. It is REALLY SAD and I am completely aware of how pathetic this is, but I am looking forward to the continuation of the "street brawl." You know one reason that I like this show is that it completely makes me realize how normal my life is.
Train Wreck-check!
Mindless TV-check! check!
I also took the Real Housewives of Atlanta quiz to see which housewife you are most like. Don't ask me why and I know that there are about 435336 other things I should have been doing, but you know that you now want to too. Go here and do it too. Let me know which one you are!

3-A lovely blog that I read and have discovered her fantastic talent (more on that later) is Pencil Sketches and Sentiments. She is lovely and I am in awe of her work. I will post about it later. She has been kind enough to award me with this "Awesomeness" award. It is a new one that I haven't seen much and all that it requires is to pass it on to 5 people.
I have so many fantastic blogs that I read daily and some really great new ones that I have found. I here by pass this on to Perfectly Pleasant, Namaste By Day, Post Smith, French Charming, & Happiness Is...

4-We are having a giveaway! Bitsy Creations has joined the Molly Lou Gifts family. We are thrilled to have them and thrilled to have the fantastic designs and creations. Check out the details of our giveaway here and head over to our site to peruse this new collection of items.

Have a great day all!

Worthwhile Wednesday~Welcome & New Giveaway!

Happy Wednesday! Let me say that while the Molly Lou scanner is broken, I will take a picture of Sam, our three eared and four eyed cat. Sam loved the couscous at dinner last night. I'm starting to see that the friends LOVE whatever Mini #1 doesn't want from his plate. He is so darn picky, that is why he needs so many friends and pets around.

It's Shameless Plug Day, I mean Worthwhile Wednesday and I am excited for it today. We have a new member of the Molly Lou Gifts family. We would like to introduce Bitsy Creations. Bitsy Creations features invitations/announcements and fine stationery products. We are so thrilled to have them. Joan, owner and designer of Bitsy Creations is a former elementary school teacher with two minis of her own about the same ages as the Molly Lou minis. Her designs and products are fresh, fun, bold, bright, and just all around fantastic.
We are still adding some products, but we have some fabulous birthday invitations, birth announcements, personalized stationery, and blank social stationery sets up and running. Things are grouped by category, but are now also grouped by designer too. Check out all of Bitsy Creations here. You can always use the search button too!

This is my favorite, the Style Your Stationery Personalized Set. You get to choose all components of it...the graphic at top, the colors, font, personalization, and envelope color. This would make a great gift...give all the same set, but change up the graphic, fonts, and color scheme.

Don't you just love the whale and elephant? When you check out the graphic choices, you will adore so many more: the pregnant silhouette, wren, damask, oh my!

I also love the recycled paper stationery sets. It seems so hard to find recycled stationery sets that are stylish, but Bitsy Creations has done it. You get to choose from the milkweed/beige paper color or light blue. I love this bird, but the birdcage and red cherry blossoms are just lovely too. These sets are found on our Social Stationery Sets Oh My page! Did you see the precious animal cards at the top that say "Congratulations" and are printed on white linen cardstock? What a fantastic way to welcome a new little bundle of joy in to the world.

All Bitsy Creation products are now 10% off. You will see this when you look at each design and can use another discount code on top of this...whew!

As in true Molly Lou Gifts fashion, when we launch a new designer or product, we have to do a giveaway. We love some giveaways around here...we are in a recession folks.

To welcome Bitsy Creations to Molly Lou Gifts, we are offering your choice of stationery set (personalized or blank). Head over to our site, and see all of Bitsy Creations designs by designer or by their respective category: invitations, announcements, stationery, and more!
Receive 1 entry for the first four, and then more for the last two. Contest ends August 19, 2009!

1-comment on what you like and what you just can't live without. Other randomness or fun fact is appreciated. We love reading comments around here...you all are so funny.

2-follow us or let us know you are a follower!

3-Tweet about this new addition and giveaway (be sure to leave your username)
4-Blog about this giveaway and/or add it to your blog's sidebar

5-Refer a friend to Molly Lou Gifts. When your friend follows us and mentions you in the comment, you will receive 5 entries.

Have a great day! Get entering and tell a friend!

House Needed and Donations Accepted

So, we have all gotten to know the members in my home: Mr. Molly Lou, Mini #1, Mini #2, Darby (imaginary friend), Sam (imaginary friend), and Dorothy (goldfish). Now, let's introduce TWO more: Sam the dog and Sam the cat. (Have I mentioned that Mini #1 has a slight obsession with naming things Sam?)

Sam the dog joined our family last Friday. He is an adorable black lab puppy that has a red collar and "has so much love." (Mini #1 words exactly.) Mini #1 fell in love with this adorable dog and we made it our own. It as been so long since I had a dog in the house, I forget how much work they are. Mini #1 hasn't had one allergic reaction to him...must be meant bo be. Full of stuffing and all...he came from Build-a-Bear Workshop. No, I did no have a complete mental breakdown and get a real dog.

Sam the dog has gone everywhere with us. Mini #1 insisted that G.G. (my grandmother that we went to see this weekend) hold him and pet him. He has bowls for his food and water and loves to sleep with Mini #1. He has to go in to his doghouse sometimes when Mini #1 needs a break.

Now, Sam the cat just came to us yesterday afternoon after coming alive from a picture that Mini #1 drew. Now, Sam the cat has three ears and four eyes. Yes, you read that right-three ears and four eyes. Not only do we have imaginary friends and now pets, we are an equal opportunity imaginary friend house and accept all creatures, disabled or not.

With this menagerie that has become my home, we are running out of room and funds to feed and house these "beings." I am thinking there isn't really enough room for me and they might not even know I'm gone if I made an escape.

It wouldn't be until a child needed a drink, lost toy, or diaper change, an imaginary friend needed a snack (apparently Darby gets sick from grapes) or a ride (Sam is still exhausted from his walk from PA). or a pet needed fresh water, clean tank, or a trip to the vet (what do you suppose the long term effects are from three ears and four eyes?) Mr. Molly Lou better be extra nice to me or he is going to be hating life when he is solely responsible for two children, three pets, and two imaginary friends.

My bags are packed!

Psssst: Did you hear that Boatman Geller is coming soon to Molly Lou Gifts???? YAY! Also, a NEW member of the Molly Lou family is being unveiled tomorrow and you know that means a giveaway. See you then!

"The second day of a diet is always easier than the first. By the second day you're off it." ~Jackie Gleason

"I've been on a diet for two weeks and all I've lost is 14 days." ~Totie Fields

Hope you all had fantastic weekends. I NEED to go on a diet and I need to get on the whole "exercising is fun" train. I have so much going on and really need to make this a priority. I am going to be motivated and do it!!!

I can't believe where the summer has gone. We have added a new discount code for the shop. Use code backtoschool to save 15% off your entire order from Molly Lou Gifts. We have so many new things and have even added an "All Things New" page to our site to showcase some new things.

Email Heaven

Do you think there is an email heaven where all lost emails are just floating around? Like one day, when we get to Heaven, God will show us a big room with all of our emails just floating around or some of the fluffy bouncy clouds we are floating around on are really just our lost emails over our lifetime?

I mean seriously, WHERE do you think they go?

Just a thought for you to ponder on this Sunday. Let me know if you come up with anything really great.

Hope you're all having great weekends?

Snapshot Saturday~Yummy

Hope you're enjoying your weekend. Take some time over this fantastic weekend and do what we do and make some yummy brownies!!!
Think he was helpful in actually making the brownies???? Here is Mini #2 watching her brother. Instead of brownies, I could eat her cheeks! Have a great weekend!

Etiquette Tips for Imaginary Friends

So, you know I have a husband, two minis, Dorothy the fish, Darby and Sam living up in the Molly Lou crib. For those of you living under a rock, Darby and Sam are Mini #1's imaginary friends.

I have recanted many a tale of ol' Darbs and Sammie Sam's antics and adventures. Remember when Darby ran back in the grocery store to get som M&M's? How about when Sam walked all the way from Pennsylvania? It was a riot when Mini #1 opened up the moving car because Darby hadn't gotten in yet!

So, I am reading If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern. She is the Irish author that wrote P.S. I Love You. If you only saw the movie and never read the book, you really need to. I'm not finished with this book yet, so a full review will have to come later.

Apparently, I have been an awful hostess to the dear imaginary friends that are living in my home. This book is so enlightening to imaginary friend parents. Ivan who is a professional imaginary friend, offers his side of the story to many of the issues that rise with imaginary friends.

Ivan says that the reason that imaginary friends leave food on their plate is that they get so paranoid because everyone is watching them waiting to see the food disappear that they can't eat and most of the time they aren't offered cutlery. It really peeves imaginary friends when they don't get a drink and when parents get mad when the imaginary friends ask for ice in the their drinks.

I hope Mr. Molly Lou isn't pointing out pretty women to Sam or Darby because apparently many dad do that to imaginary friends.

For the record, imaginary friends would NEVER tell their friends to each vegetables, so parents should just stop using that as an excuse.
No wonder it has never worked and Mini #1 just laughs at me whenever I have said "Darby is eating her vegetables and she thinks you should too."

I am so glad that I have seen the light from this book and will now be sure to extend a more welcoming spirit to Sam and Darby.
I think I need to get myself some imaginary friends to help me with this life. When I want to run away and hide from my children and husband, perhaps my imaginary friends could jump in to help.

Happy weekend. Can't wait to hear all about them on Monday. We have some exciting news and new products coming next week. Today is the last day to get Coyne & Pinckney Stationery 10% off. See our collection here.

In thinking of imaginary friends, I found this cartoon and thought it was cute!

Haphazard Thursday

You know today is the day when all the randomness just comes out. I know some of you are thinking that happens everyday, but today it just comes in list form.

1. Vanity Fair left me off their International Best Dressed List again!!! I was shocked to see this month's copy and see the faces and style of folks like Carla Bruni, Penelope Cruz, Tiki Barber, Kathy Freston, Brad Pitt, Anne Hathaway, Michele Obama, Kelly Ripa, and NOT Mrs. Molly Lou. Someone is going to lose their job after I write my strongly worded letter to the editor. I mean last year they swore it was an oversight and gross mistake and would never happen again. You just wait until next year...

You know I look like this everyday while grooving to the new tunes in my head at the playground. I also get the opportunity to wear all those swanky clothes when I go out and mingle with my celeb friends at night.

2. Speaking of Kelly Ripa, I LOVE HER. I want to be her. Seriously, I really do.
3. Thanks to those of you that sent emails about how I shouldn't want to know those songs on the "Summer '09 List." It was meant to be more funny and pathetic that I wasn't as up to speed and hip as I used to be. Trust me, the minis and I will not be grooving to "Birthday Sex" or "Love Game" over their waffles and canteloupe at breakfast.
4. Many of you know that I work part time for a realtor friend of mine. I have known this man and his wife since I was a small child. They are very dear friends of mine and I have had the priviledge of knowing them and being around them for years. Yesterday, Marian gave her kidney to another member of our church that just three weeks ago was put on the kidney transplant list. She immediately volunteered and it has been a whirlwind few weeks going through testing, more testing, traveling, counseling, more testing, etc. Both are doing well and I am just so completely in awe of this woman and her selfless act. If I didn't adore this woman, I really would hate her.
5. Mini #2 really, really, really wants to walk. She can stand for long periods of time and is quite the "scooter" between furniture and things. We were sitting on the floor with her trying to get her to take a step between Mr. Molly Lou and I. We called Mini #1 over as she worships him and would do anything for him. He obliged and was calling his sister and smilling at her. Finally he says "Come on Mini #2*! You can do it. Take a step towards brother. Come on. I can't stand here forever waiting for her." She didn't do it and he was too busy to wait. Keep you posted.
6. Jon Gosselin is really getting on my last nerve. I want to pinch him so hard. He just keeps going. I feel like we reach a lull in the Jon & Kate scandal and divorce fiasco and then Jon just pops up again about his new girlfriend and new single life. Then, flash over to paparazzi pictures of Kate taking care of the kids. I also saw that Jon's new BFF is Lindsay Lohan's dad! THAT IS SO SMART JON...he is a role model father, so be sure to take a few tips from him.
There are many more random bits going on in this head of mine, but I will stop for now. Hope you all have a great day!
*Thanks to VanityFair.com for the pictures. Mini #2's name was changed...the minis don't refer to each other as #1 and #2 at home. *

Big Girl Day Camp

{Editor's Note: Worthwhile Wednesday will be delayed this week...it will be worth the wait! Now you're on the edge of your seat in suspense! We will just pretend it's Groundhog Day and have a bit of deja vu when it posts. Thanks so much for your cooperation and understanding.}

In my randomness of Haphazard Thursday a few weeks ago, I mentioned that I wanted to go to camp. I felt that I needed a break and instead of the minis going to camp, perhaps Mom should attend. I talked with many of you via email or DM on Twitter and so many of you left comments that I have been thinking more about this genius idea.

Ok, so you don't have to be a mom or a wife...We all have job, schools, children, pets, boyfriends, spouses, homes, friends, family, careers, etc. that we could use a break from and get back in touch with our childish fun. Karen over at French Charming, which is a blog that I love to read mentioned the other day about taking a Thelma and Louise road trip and how fun it would be to just be spontaneous and take off with a great friend. She did mention that perhaps we could do without the kidnap and murder.

CAMPERS, get ready! At Camp ______________ (we need a FABULOUS Camp Name), campers will enjoy swimming, good food, afternoon drinks and snacks, arts and crafts, field trips, choice of recreational activities, and good times with friends while sleeping in camp tents*.

In detail, we could swim and lay by the pool, eat yummy food and make s'mores each night, happy hour and snacks in the afternoon, Martha Stewart crafts and lessons, field trips and recreational activities to include shopping, restaurants, manicures/pedicures, massages, etc. , and we could all sleep together telling stories and laughing in to the wee hours of the morning.

We could make camp shirts and other tacky camp memorabilia. This could be a planned getaway every summer. We could write letters to our friends after camp is finished and create a scrapbook of our week at camp with our fantastic friends.

I know there are still some details to iron out. We could pick a random location or the inaugural camp week could take place at Molly Lou Manor.

Suggestions are welcome and the Planning Committee looks forward to hearing from you.

Step right up and sign up for Camp _____________________. Registration starts now. Feel free to invite a friend!

*By tents, I mean a deluxe hotel or welcoming camper home. I am not running away from my life to sleep on the ground or with bugs.

Have a great weekend. Can't wait to catch up!

This is where it ends...

Let me preface this post by saying that I vowed to myself many, many moons ago that I would never become "a mom." Not in the respect of motherhood, clearly I have two minis that I love and adore. I would never become the "mom" in those mom jeans, denim handbag, and spoke of that "new fangled technology" like it was trying to learn Arabic.

So, I used to think of myself as a pretty up-to-date person. I might not wear the most stylish or trendy clothes, but I know what is in style and have maintained my Kate Spade obsession. I keep up with celebrity gossip and always felt more or less "in the know" of ALL things important. When I taught middle school, my students thought I was so cool because I knew the trends, knew the lyrics to the "happening" music, and was up to speed on all movies. Even if it wasn'y my favorite genre of music, I at least could pick out the song or artist. I saw many movies (that certainly is history) and knew all the behind the scenes gossip on the movie sets thanks to the web and magazines.

Well, folks that has changed and my "in the know" and stylish days appear to have flown the coop.

In reading People, the music page was devoted to "Songs of Summer '09." Let me run down the list for you:

*The Black Eyed Peas: "I Gotta Feeling"

*Lady Gaga: "LoveGame"

*Kristina DeBarge: "Goodbye"

*Jordin Sparks: "Battlefield"

*Pink: "Please Don't Leave Me"

*Drake: "Best I Ever Had"

*Jeremih: "Birthday Sex"

*Kings of Leon: "Use Someday"

*Green Day: "21 Guns"

*Michael Jackson: "Man in the Mirror"

Dear Readers, I am embarassed and ashamed to admit that I don't know more than one of these songs and could not pick out of a lineup a few of these artists. I have spent far too long listening to children's music in the car and having the most happening CD in my car stereo being The Beatles compilation for children. The Wheels on the Bus, You are My Sunshine, ABC's, etc. have taken the place in my life where "Birthday Sex" and "Goodbye" clearly should be.

This is a very sad and depressing day for me. Very sad indeed.

I need to take back my life and regain my style! Today is the day that I make a pact to work on that. Instead of humming "If You're Happy and You Know It," I will be grooving to "Love Game." All the moms at the playground will be oh so jealous of me.

On a lighter note: I forgot to come back and announce the winner of the Coyne and Pinckney stationery set. The winner is EKM!!! YAY! Congratulations. Email me with your choice and I will get your set out to you as soon as possible. Thanks to all who entered. Remember all of our Coyne and Pinckney stationery sets are 10% off. Discount ends on Friday! Click here to head over and see the whole collection.

This is what I need...

I had plans this weekend, big, big house plans. Molly Lou sister was going to take the minis on Friday night as originally planned when we were going to have that shower. I had great plans of getting tons of housework done, some yard landscaping, painting the fireplace, and more. I have mentioned my OCD behavior before, but this weekend, I was going to do some of the deep cleaning that needed to be done. Mr. Molly Lou had agreed to help (shocking, I know.) Then, Friday night before Mr. Molly Lou and I were going to go out on a date (gasp!), my sister called and said that Mini #2 had a fever. Cancel date and go pick up minis. Nothing went as planned this weekend. We did get the fireplace painted and I mowed the lawn, but not the grand plans I envisioned and Mr. wasn't really keen on helping and motivated to get some of his items done.

I was reading People magazine and they did this article where David Beckham answers your questions. Most, were the normal Posh and soccer questions, but one caught my eye.

Apparently he is "very passionate about cleanliness and housework. I love to vaccuum." He also mentioned that he likes to cook.

Ladies, close your eyes and imagine David Beckham in your home vaccuuming, dusting, and preparing your dinner.

Thanks to People.com for the lovely photo.

Wow...Have a great day!

Love, Love, Love

My name twin over at Living in the Moment tagged me to "Show My Heart."Thanks B for passing this along. I know you have seen this, but it is a great tag. I tried to get this to post the other day, but you know how my computer hasn't wanted to cooperate. We are slowly working on this and I think the time outs are starting to work.

The rules: "With as much creativity as you can muster, show your heart in: a picture, a poem, a song (or piece of music), a phrase (or quote), an item of clothing, a place, and (just for fun) a Disney princess. If you want to join in, tag six more blogs!

A picture: The minis are clearly my heart. Add Mr. Molly Lou too! I know I am biased, but these little beautiful minis just melt my heart. From this picture, it looks like they love each other too!

A song: "You are My Sunshine" I have sung this to my children too many times and can make myself tear up just thinking about it. I love the Elizabeth Mitchell version of this song. Mini #1 can sing it and it is just so sweet and wonderful to hear him sing it to me.

Click here to hear her sing it. (Trust me, MUCH better than if you heard me sing it.)

A poem / A quote: I am taking a little creative license here. I have loved Edwin McCain's I Could Not Ask for More for many years. I think the song is fantastic, but the words are really great when read too. I am going to combine my poem and quote with the words below. Thanks for understanding.
Lying here with you Listening to the rain Smiling just to see, the smile upon your face And these are the moments I thank God that I'm alive And these are the moments I'll remember all my life I found all I've waited for And I could not ask for more Looking in your eyes Seeing all I need Everything you are, is everything to me And these are the moments I know heaven must exist And these are the moments, I know all I need is this I have all I've waited for (yeah)And I could not ask for more… I could not ask for more than this time together I could not ask for more than this time with you And every prayer has been answered And every dream I’ve had has come true yeah, right here in this moment, is right where I'm meant to be Oh, here with you here with me… Ooh, yeah, oh yeah, oh yeahAnd these are the moments I thank God that I'm alive and these are the moments I'll remember all my life I've got all I've waited for yeah And I could not ask for more I could not ask for more than this time together I could not ask for more than this time with you And every prayer has been answered And every dream I’ve hads come true yeah, and right here in this moment is right where I'm meant to be here with you here with me… I could not ask for more than the love you give me 'Cuz it's all I've waited for And I could not ask for more (more)ooh and I could not ask for more

An item of clothing: Let me count the ways that I love my Rainbow flip flops...

A place: I have many places that hold a piece of my heart. My childhood home, my grandmother's home, our first home that we brought Mini #1 home to, Rome and Venice where we honeymooned and had such a fantastic time, our current home-one that I know we will have many years of happiness and memories with our children.

A Disney princess: How can Belle from Beauty and the Beast not be your favorite??? She is smart, ambitious, beautiful, and has such a loving heart. She fell in love with a BEAST because she loved HIM...

Now, let's pass the fun along. I tag:
YOU!!! It's a rainy Sunday afternoon here, so this will be fun. You know you want to!

Snapshot Saturday~Key West Sunset

(Ok, so tilt your head to get the full effect of this fantastic photo. Go ahead, stretch those neck muscles!! I apologize for this, but my computer is being very difficult. I have just had stern words with it and it is in time out. That works sometimes with Mini #1, so perhaps with technology too. I will try to correct again in a bit!)

Thanks to Cassie for sending us this week's Snapshot Saturday entry. This photo was taken on Key West during sunset last summer.

Mr. Molly Lou and I went to Key West last summer too just before Mini #2 was born. We had a great time and I loved it much more than I thought I would. I took a similar shot too and love it.

The Today Show did a day in Key West with Matt and Al. Made me wish that I was relaxing in Key West with Matt Lauer...

Enjoy your weekends. Send us your Snapshot Saturday submissions. Include a brief description and a .jpg photo and get your day of fame on our site. Email us your photos here.
