Last night I had a visitor crawl in to my bed. A handsome little man who likes to snuggle.
Good thing because I am an Expert Snuggler. I should really add it to my resume.
It's a talent really. Perhaps even a gift.
I slept well. He slept well.
I went to get out of bed this morning a little after 6 to shower. My bed partner groans "nooooo."
I said "It's ok sweet boy, go back to sleep."
"No, Mom. Come back. I need to snuggle with you."
Melt my heart. Who could say no to that. It was dark, I was still a tad sleepy and it was chilly in the house, so I sacrificed and climbed back in to bed with that sweet little boy and snuggled for another perfect half an hour.
Then, Mini #2 started bellowing and wanted to be let out of her castle. I went to get her and brought her back to my bed where the boy was still sprawled.
I put her between us and Mini #1 said "Mom, why does Mini #2 want to snuggle with us at our snuggle party."
"Well, if it's a snuggle party she wants to be invited. Why do you think she wants to be here with us."
Mini #1: "Because our snuggle parties are the best around."
Stay tuned for your invite...you don't want to miss the BEST snuggle parties.
Have a great weekend!

Pink and Green Thursday~Pink Sands
We can sit, soak up the sun, chat and gossip, drink yummy drinks with these umbrellas and leave the "real world" behind.
Happy Thursday. Have a great day!
My next purchase...
Don't you think this is just what the Molly Lou family needs? Candy Spelling is graciously giving up her home and "downsizing." Now it is time for another family to step right up and claim "The Manor."
This is just perfect for us. We could enjoy all 56,000 square feet and we could explore and practice counting the actual number of rooms and bathrooms, since no one seems to be sure exactly how many there are.
When we weren't totally in love with each other and wanting to spend all of our time together, we could totally spread out to get some time to ourselves and enjoy different rooms. Although, we might need to set up some kind of system or else it could take weeks to find the minis if they started roaming. Hide and seek could go on for weeks which would thrill Mini #1!!
Sure, we have a quaint and charming little Cape Cod now, but doesn't this home just look warm and inviting? It has all of the ammenities that I have been looking for: barber shop, beauty salon, wine tasting room, flower cutting room, gift wrapping room (seriously, I have always dreamed of one of those...how fun!), bowling alley, servants wing, and the MUST HAVE, can't live without temperature controlled silver storage room.
I think this might be the perfect way for my husband to show how much he loves and adores me and is eternally grateful to me for carrying his precious children. And the price tag of $150 million dollars is reasonable considering all the home has to offer. I mean where else can you find a silver storage room and home with 16 carports?
OK...sarcasm over. Let's get serious here. $150 million dollars??????
The Spellings have lived in this home for 20 years and still don't know how many rooms there are? Don't you think with your entourage of servants, you could pay someone to count them?
Do you know what could be done with that money? Do you know how many "normal" homes could be bought with that much money?
Do you know how many people and families could live in that mansion and not have to even see each other?
Candy, if you want to invite me out to stay and play for a few days, I will be happy to bring my pen and paper and count all of the rooms for you? I will also be happy to check out the beauty salon and test out the silver by the pool. It is important to make sure the silver keeping room is working properly before the new owners move in. Call me.
Happy Wednesday!

Marriage 101
Mr. and I are taking a marriage class at the church I grew up in. My mom watches the minis and we even get to grab a bite of dinner before heading back. (Two weeks eating a meal sans children...this goes along with Friday's end of the world post.)
This is "taught" by the minister and his wife. They are fun and a "real" couple. They don't claim to have the perfect marriage and and are open in sharing some of the hurdles they have overcome and are honest in the work God has done for their marriage.
The class is a good mix of couples, both young and old, newlyweds and ones that have been married for almost an eternity.
Of course, Mr. is the "class clown" and feels the need to make several jokes. Sometimes his jokes occur at inappropriate times and twice I have grabbed his leg under the table and whisper oh so sweetly "do not make a joke now," but that is a story for another day.
I think what I have enjoyed the most about this is the knowledge that there are several things Mr. and I are doing RIGHT in our marriage. (gasp!)
I feel like I often dwell and obsess (me obsess? never!) over things wrong in our marriage and the areas where we need to improve. These are little things, nothing world altering, but still areas of less than perfectness.
While some of those are still there, we have a great marriage and this class has spotlighted areas where we shine and apparently (at least today) seem to "have it down." Unfortunately in many scenarios, it is easier to see the negative than the positive.
I also read a Wall Street Journal article last week about marriages and how it is often the little things that cause the biggest cracks in marriages. The article discusses how couples often come closer together during the bigger and most trying times in life such as loss of a loved one, illness, job crisis, but let the little things build up and lead to the biggest issues.
The thing I will remember most is "You can choose to be right or be happy. Choose to the happy."
This is my new mantra.
Every marriage is different and every couple has their hurdles to overcome. With Mr.'s career having us apart 4-5 days a week and then toss in two small children, some days our hurdles feel too high to even attempt to climb.
I love my husband, our marriage, and the life we have created so much and it nice to be reminded of that sometimes.
Happy Tuesday! Remember to choose happiness.

It all started with a new faucet...
It started as a normal Saturday morning in the Molly Lou house. The minis, Mr. and I ate breakfast chatting about various things and wondering if it was going to rain all day. Mini #1 told a few funnies and we were just the Cosbys or the Sievers or the Tanners sharing a lovely weekend breakfast together.
Now, it was project time. We bought a lovey new faucet for the kitchen sink on Friday afternoon and this little "activity" would kick off the Saturday fun. (I am so "in like" with this faucet. Yes, I know it is pathetic to get excited and happy over a faucet).
The first 6.5 seconds of the project go beautifully. This is normally how home improvement projects go in this family...start off perfect and then disaster QUICKLY follows
The old faucet leaked and must have for the 20 years the crazy lady lived here before us. Leak=rusty bolts that are impossible to get off.
Mr. uses all his might to get them off...no luck. I even try to squeeze in a different way, end up dropping a wrench on my face which led to an AWESOME (and very painful) "goose egg" on my forehead...no luck.
Enter Mr. with power tools galore and let the faucet demo begin. I am pretty sure he released some internal rage from the way he was going at that poor, old faucet.
Let's fast forward several hours later and a dazzling new faucet adorns my sink and things are great.
Yes, things are great except when you turn on the water, hot or cold, the pressure is less than perfect. It is a glorified dribble.
A little banging, phone calls to Mr.'s father, a little more banging, some screwing, unscrewing, tightening and loosening, and a trip to Home Depot for some different hoses, it gets a little better. Not great, but better.
We leave it and go on to enjoy the rest of the day. Except there isn't much of the afternoon or day left since this has taken slightly more than the minutes it was projected to take.
Just before Mini bedtime, Mr. says "You know I am going to go under the house and make sure there isn't a leak and that is why the pressure is bad. I don't think that's it, but let's just check."
ow
Bet you can guess.
Yes, LEAK. Yippee, hooray, do a dance. This again is exactly how these things go in this house.
He cuts off the water main, so water is a luxury we weren't having for a while. A few phone calls to Mr.'s father, another trip to Home Depot, he arrives home and says he will start the fix early the next morning.
We sleep with a mini in between us and before 6:30 am, we (yes, I rocked some dirty clothes and was under the house too) were working away.
Things were going great for the first 6.5 seconds (deja vu?). Then, after pipe has been cut it is realized that something isn't right and we don't have the right part.
PERFECT. Phone calls to Mr.'s dad, pictures taken, more phone calls, some yelling under the house, the minis are starting to wake up. They are also wondering who the crazy man yelling under the house is.
Mr. heads to to Home Depot (note-go out and buy some Home Depot stock as my family will be solely responsible for the impressive rise in stock prices).
Forgets his wallet and comes back to go back again. Still no water.
I'll spare the rest of the painful memories, I mean details, but let's just say that Sunday was no day of rest and AHHHHHHHHHHH!
Thank the good Lord for running water. Thanks to my husband, Mr.'s dad via phone, and Home Depot for finally fixing the problems.
It all started with a new faucet...
Hope you all had a great weekend. Happy Monday!
PS-my regular email and the site are down. If you need me, email brittany (dot) giametta (at) gmail (dot) com. Thanks.

Snapshot Saturday~Culinary Arts
**Side (or top) note: The Molly Lou Gifts website is temporarily down and so is my main email. I cannot see any mail or receive any as well. We hope to have this corrected as soon as possible. In the meantime, please us brittany.giametta@gmail.com as your primary email source. Thanks so much. Happy Saturday!
It is safe to say the Mini #1 is a culinary genius. That's right, move over Emeril, Jamie, Tyler, Curtis, and Wolfgang. Get ready Top Chef, Mini #1 is on the way. We have been doing a little baking and he has been helping make parts of dinners recently.
The chef hat makes it so much more fun and give the master skills a jolt of energy.
Mini #1 doing a little tractor playing while the cuisine is in the oven. Mini #2 is Master Taster and helper. If it involves making a mess, she is right there.
Have a great weekend!

The sky is falling, the sky is falling...
Just call me Henny Penny. Don't say you weren't warned.
Grab your loved ones, eat your cupcakes, get a venti latte because something crazy is going around here.
I present exhibits A-D to prove that indeed the end is near...
Exhibit A-My son asked for brocolli for dinner. I certainly obliged and not only did he eat all that was put on his plate, he ASKED FOR MORE and actually ate the second helping.
Exhibit B-The minis played together NICELY and happily for almost 30 minutes yesterday and then even shared a snack without any snatching, screeching, or bodily harm.
Exhibit C-We haven't received one bill at all this week in the mail AND I have received some form of friendly snail mail each day. The mail this week has been full of those sun shiny and lovely notes from friends and family and the rest was junk, but not one bill.
Exhibit D-After two nights in a row of putting the children to bed, I decided not to do anything really productive and just read a book. It was truly glorious!
What will we do? Run for cover...

Pink and Green Thursday~Let's play pretend
"The earth is a generous mother; she will provide in plentiful abundance food for all her children if they will but cultivate her soil in justice and in peace."
~ Bourke Coekran
While out frolicking, we will find these lovely pink and green flowers and these gorgeous hyanciths. We'll make the most beautiful bouquets for our tea party.
This will be my outfit. It's from Talbots. (Let me just say that they have some CUTE things in their most recent catalog and online.)
and we will dine on these heavenly cupcakes. (Obviously calories don't matter while playing pretend or being a princess.) While having a lovely afternoon together, we will Celebrate Life. (Isn't this sign adorable??? It's only $13 and is in a new Etsy Shop. They are offering 10% off as a grand opening special. Their colors are pink and green too...perfect)

I wish we could have that tea party and celebrate this crazy, wonderful life we live on this planet. I would have the best time with you all. Hope you have a wonderful day. Happy Thursday!

Wordless Wednesday~New Love
This is my newst love...
Oh how I want one of these little pieces of technological heaven!
Let me count the ways...
This iPad is just so lovely and I never have anything "really cool" when it's still new. Perhaps this is my chance. I need it. Don't you think?
Mother's Day is right around the corner.
Hint, hint. Wink, wink. Happy Wednesday.
PS-This was supposed to be wordless. oops.

Just Say No
Do you ever get stuck in situations where people ask you to do things and without really thinking about it you just blurt out "Yes." Then, you can't go back and answer differently and sometimes after the first "yes" 5 additional "yes" answers just fly out too.
No?? Good for you.
I seem to do this all the time. It's like I can't help it. There is something seriously wrong with me. (Well, I think we established long ago that was the case, so just add this to the list.)
"Can you help with this project?" Yes.
"Can you take care of my kids?"Yes.
"Want to volunteer for this?" Yes.
"Can you make 4 dozen cupcakes and bring by in the morning?" Yes.
"Mom, can you wipe my bum?" Yes.
"Will you donate for my sister's best friend's cousin's brother's school funraiser? The money goes to help the school and the children learn infinite wisdom and knowledge to help them be productive members of society?" Yes. Absolutely Yes.
"What ideas do you have for this fundraiser?" Blah, blah, blah. "Great. Will you do them all and then when you finish I will add more?" Yes.
I answered a big, fat "YES" to heading the silent auction and raffle for Mini #1's Spring Fling Carnival fundraiser.
This, just like the "Room Mom" task turned out to be a much bigger, more time consuming, and stressful job than I thought it would be.
It is like a snowball effect...I say "yes" to a certain task, then I say "yes" again, I get anxiety about the whole thing because I want it to be perfect, then I obsess and work my bum off to get it finished while perhaps venting some frustrations or obstacles once or twice to my BFF or Mr. and then I'm always happy with how it finally turns out and then say "yes" again as soon as someone wants me to do something else. Saga continues.
There is 4 weeks left to the "big day" and just when I think that I have the big things check off my list, 254 more pop in to my head or someone gives me a list. Then, there are several details and little things that can't be done until closer to the day.
My dear blog friend, Jillian has written more than once about how she has perfected the "no" in the Just Say No campaign against unnecessary and incessant volunteering.
I need to take lessons from her.
Perhaps I should see a doctor. Surely there must be a magical, happy little pill that can assist me with this small problem.
I need to finish up some flyers for the raffle before I take Mini #1 to school this morning. Ahhhh.
Happy Tuesday.

Welcome to the World...
One of my college roommates gave birth to her first child, a precious little boy on Thursday.
I get to meet him tomorrow and see the new parents. Mr., the minis, and I are headed there in morning for a short visit. I will go back again in a few weeks to help when the family has gone to help and spend a little more time.
Oh, sweet babies...the smell, the tiny fingers and toes, the snuggling.
Welcome to the world Ryan Patrick Carey!
PS-My baby fever is rising and I fear will only get worse on Sunday.
Hope you're having a great weekend!

Protective Measures
You may be asking "What in the world is going on with Mini#2?"
Game of dress up?
No.
Is that a shower cap she is wearing while eating her dinner?
Why yes. She is indeed sporting this season's hotel shower cap.
Normal dinner attire in the Molly Lou house?
No, but perhaps should be.
I have discussed MANY times before and even provided picture evidence on more than one occassion on the MESS that is Mini #2 (especially when eating.)
Remember Mr. and I play "Rock, Paper, Scissors" sometimes for who has to get her out of the chair and clean her up particularly dirty or dark sauced meals like enchiladas or spaghetti.
Back to the picture. The minis played outside all afternoon and were extremely dirty so they took baths before dinner.
Just to spite me, Mini #2 will sometimes run food through her hair and smile at me. Normally, I smile right back because 3 seconds after I get her out of the chair and cleaned up enough to go upstairs, she gets a bath.
What to do, what to do about the bath before meal predicament????
AHA!
Put a shower cap on her to keep the sweet smelling and clean hair sweet smelling and clean.
She thought it was funny and we did a few rounds of she takes off, I put back on. But the thing about Mini #2 is she loves to eat so eventually she gave up and left it on so she could enjoy her dinner.
Score one for mom! Mini #2:265432 Mom: 1

Call the Ambulance...
I think there is something wrong with me.
Really, really wrong.
Call the doctor.
If you have read this blog even once, you probably know about my love affair with coffee.
Oh sweet coffee.
Lent was hard, but it got better and then I didn't even mind.
Here is where the illness takes over.
I don't really care about coffee anymore. I have only made it three times since Lent and that is because Mr. was home and wanted it. (He has serious caffeine addiction issues.)
Coffee isn't the first thing I think about in the morning.
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT????
Take a minute to take that in.
Also, I haven't made my bed for two days.
And, I forgot to run the dishwasher last night and I didn't even freak out this morning.
Everything else I am as obsessive as ever, but these are big red flags that have me worried.
I wonder what the doctors will say and what they will diagnose me with?
I hope it isn't too serious.
PS-Thinking of coffee, I heard today is FREE coffee day at Starbucks as long as you bring in your reusable cup.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...
We all love getting awards, right?
Well, I really, really, really think it is lovely. It's the closest I will get to wearing my fabulous red carpet dress, smiling for the paparazzi, and making my acceptance speech in front of all the A-listers.
I've been given the I Love Your Blog Award by two of the BEST blog friends: It's a Golden Day and Pink Preppy Lilly Lover. I just adore both of these women and sometimes feel like we are BFF in real life. I jump to check their blogs each day and always love what they have to say.
Bevy is an SC girl too with two precious boys and one sweet husband. Trish is just fabulous and always puts the best photographs on her blog. She has one sweet husband too and I am really working on adding some precious minis to her life too. (No pressure!:))If you don't already know them, click on over and say hello.
This is where you get on the edge of your seat to read 10 things that I love!
Ready, set, GO:
1. The sound of the minis laughing. Even better if they are laughing together while playing. There truly is no better sound than that of a child's laughter.
2. Thoughts of my grandmother. Everyday, at some random time a thought or memory of her will pop in to my head and I always get a smile on my face. She loved the spring time, so it happens more now. It could be something I see, a smell, or a face the minis make. It's amazing how sometimes a thought of her can stop my dead in my tracks.
3. Peanut Butter Patty Girl Scout Cookies. Oh sweet things! GS cookies came out over Lent and with my abstaining from chocolate over those 40 days, I am just getting to savor and enjoy them. Peanut Butter + Chocolate + Cookie=perfection. How could you not love that? I feel sorry for Mini #1 that he doesn't get to taste that little circle of goodness since he is allergic to peanuts.
4. The beach early in the morning.
5. Tulips, daisies, lillies, daffodils...everywhere you look there are gorgeous spring flowers popping up. Even the weed flowers and dandelions that the minis excitedly pick for me is perfect too.
6. Sparkling swimming pools...They are just so inviting and always refreshing, especially after yard work or general summer hotness.
7. The smell of fresh cut grass. That is definitely a smell everyone can relate to. I also love the look of a fresh cut lawn. Makes you just want to lay down and get lost in the sky.
8. Snail mail. I love to send and to receive. Instant love when I flip through the mail...bill, bill, junk, bill, catalog, junk, bill, flyer, HANDWRITTEN NOTE FROM A FRIEND!!!
9. Books! How I love to read and just don't do it enough. I could find a comfy spot on the couch under an old quilt or find a lounge chair on a warm afternoon and read all day.
10. Monograms. Can you really have too many monograms or things personalized in your life, that of your minis, or in general your family? Absolutely NO.
Now I get to pass this along to some fabulous blog friends. There are so many that I love and deserve this award and that I truly think of as "real" friends.
The Perks
Experiments in a Galley Kitchen
Living in the Moment
Preppy 101
Namaste By Day
Belle on Heels
Bitsy Creations
Emily's Going Nuts
The Katherine Wheel
Have a great day! Thanks again Bevy and Trish. I heart you both!

Riddle Me This...
Let's have a little Tuesday riddle shall we?
Take a look at the picture below. Can you spot what is wrong with the picture?
If you guessed that my son is wearing TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOES, you would be correct! (Yes, he is rocking one red croc and one leather flip flop.)
What makes this worse, is that he was like that for a picnic, trip to the zoo, and a little park playing...about 5 hours in public.
What makes this even worse, it was close to an hour before I noticed this and was't until his little friend that we were on the picnic zoo outing with said "What is wrong with your feet?"
What makes this even worse worse, he now thinks it is hilarious and set up a new two shoe combination later in the afternoon to go outside and play. I am going to have to watch him closely or else he will head to school or church with this new, expressive style.
That's right friends, step right up and cast your ballots for MOTHER OF THE YEAR AWARD!
I have my speech all planned out.

Picasso Prodigy?
Mini #1 is quite the artist. He loves to paint, draw, play-doh, and cut just about anything to make a masterpiece.
Our home is a museum of his creations and our newest budding artist, Mini #2.
Mini #1 prefers to create his pieces in the abstract sense. It gives him more independence in his creative form and allows his audience to create their own conclusions about his work.
I mean, he could create a masterpiece of a million squiggles and streaks and dots, but after really looking at it and perhaps discussing with the artist, you can clearly see and feel the train station, passengers loading the train, the strong engine steaming out from the platform and the birds soaring in the sky above it.
Or another drawing may be of a bad storm coming. Or a skyscraper still under construction. Or a bouquet of flowers.
You know you never ask a child, I mean artist prodigy what something is, you just ask "abstract" questions to get the details out because obviously just from looking at it, you know what it is.
Well, my friends, the pure abstract stage is out and now Mini #1 is now focusing on portraits.
Step right up and your Mini #1 masterpiece could be next.

Lovely isn't it? Simple, but perfect.
This is a big deal in our family. You see, we have been so focused on perfecting and truly mastering the abstract stage that this is our first OBVIOUS person.
Look at that smile, big blue eyes, and little button nose.
Who is this? Who did Mini #1 decide would be the muse for his portrait debut? Who will one day grace the halls of the Guggenheim or the Metropolitan Museum of Art as the famous Mini #1's first "real" drawing done with a simple blue marker?
It's ME.
Duh.
I was outside finishing up some planting. Mini #1 was inside with Mr. and his sister when he abruptly stopped what he was working on and explained "I need to draw Mom."
You know when the creative inspiration hits, you just can't supress it. Blue is his favorite color. I wish I had big blue eyes like Mr., Mini #2, and now my portrait.
Perhaps he really is a Picasso prodigy. He can mix his love for abstract with this new found genre.
Again my friends, step right up and you could be next!
Have a great day.

Years Go By
"And oh how the years go by
And oh how the love brings tears to my eyes
All through the changes the soul never dies
We fight, we laugh, we cry
As the years go by..."
Spring break of years past included sleeping late, shopping, traveling to the beach or an island, and indulging more than you should.
This year spring break includes bubbles, sidewalk chalk, the zoo, playing at the park, eating icecream, bicycle and wagon riding, picnics, extra fort making and book reading, and sandbox construction zones.
The love certainly does bring tears to my eyes.
I just can't seem to catch my breath when I realize how quickly the years are going by.

Visions...
I have visions of sweet smelling flowers, trimmed shrubs, layered perennials and annuals in a rainbow of colors, no weeds, new mulch, birds singing around their fresh water birdbath and new food being added, freshly cut grass, and a clear, sparkly swimming pool.
There are a few other things on a list for Mr. to help me with this weekend too. (He will be thrilled.)
That is what I am working on.
Except my visions keep getting blurred by this haze. POLLEN. Even the minis are yellow at the end of the day.
The constant sneezing, sinus headaches, runny noses, and yellow film covering us are making this family slightly miserable. But does it keep us inside, no. It is hard to tame the minis when they just want to run and play (and sneeze) all day long.
I am from this great state of South Carolina, so I know it is bad. This year seems to be much worse as everything just exploded at once.
Will the allergies or my obsessive compulsive personality to get everything finished and "looking good" win?
I'm pretty sure the latter will prevail. It usually does.
Except for the pool...a yellow film over that vision of clean and sparkly isn't exactly what I was going for.
Happy Thursday. Have a great day.

Pictures
I am still having some upload issues, but here are two to document the holiday. The minis woke up bright and early and enjoyed their egg hunt and loot find from the Easter Bunny. We are still down visiting Mr. since it is spring break and the internet access has been less than perfect, so I have my fingers crossed that is the only problem with the upload/email/general internet issues.
It's funny how I have changed my stance on pictures of my children. Before I wanted every picture to be perfect, the children would be smiling, there would be this halo effect over their perfect little heads, and if together in pictures, they would be frolicking in some way.
Now, that has gone out the window (remember the Christmas card debacle?). I do appear to be relaxing as I get older and now have a much broader vision of a "perfect" picture when it comes to my little minis.
I just prefer that they not be crying, or at least both crying, no sign of physical abuse between them, and if we could keep the snot out, that would be great!
While not perfect, both children are smiling and appear to be enjoying/tolerating sitting next to each other.
Don't they looked thrilled? Perhaps this is the morning sugar overdose kicking in?!?!

They Really Do LIKE Eachother...
at least for 5.2 seconds. This completely voluntary act by Mini #1 to take his sister's hand while strolling through the zoo was priceless.
My heart just melted as I whipped out the camera to document this rare sight. I had visions of them being best friends as teenagers and just knew that deep down they really do like each other.
Then the screeching and fighting occurred. Mini #2 was bored with the affection and started screeching to retrieve her hand.
Mini #1 started yelling "I just want to hold your hand now! Let me have it."
More screeching. More yelling.
Snap back...And then we were back to reality.
At least I was able to document it.
Have a great day!!
PS-I can't seem to upload any Easter pictures. This picture was on the other camera. Oh the technology.

HAPPY EASTER!
Oh happy day! What an awesome day today is! May you rejoice in this day!
Enjoy your family and friends, baskets full of candy and goodies, bunny treats, spring colors and flowers in full bloom, and the love surrounding us.
I am also enjoying several cups of coffee and a few pieces of chocolate too! :)
Happy Easter!!

Snapshot Saturday-Easter a Year Ago
My so much has changed in a year. The minis are growing so quickly that some days it is hard for my head to get on board with that exciting, yet scary thought.
Here are a few pictures from last year's Easter. (Look how bald Mini #2 is.)
I hope you all are enjoying your weekends. We are going to my parent's house and the minis will get to participate in another egg hunt extravaganza.Happy Weekend!

Internet Domination
I don't want to dwell, but followers have been dropping quicker than flies lately around these parts.
Do you mean to tell me that they aren't enjoying all of the motherly antecdotes, messy mini pictures, rants about seemingly unimportant things, slightly humorous April Fool's Day banter, or do you think they just don't enjoy my oh so charming, witty and sunny personality??? (note the sarcasm).
Where do you think they are going? Do you think they are starting their own group that I am obviously not cool enough to join? Maybe it is a whole group sitting around blogging about how uncool I am.
Or do you think they are a group banding together against all things chocolate, Kate Spade, related to television, minis, and (gasp!) coffee? Oh goodness, I hope not. That certainly wouldn't do anything for world peace.
I digress.
You see this is affecting me because clearly I am seeking INTERNET DOMINATION. If my followers and peeps keep dropping out, how am I ever going to reach this goal??
I need to perfect that evil laugh for when I reach this goal and I RULE the internet. Any tips?
How am I ever going to be the next Dooce?
How am I going to take over the internet and make things work just the way I want them to?
I may have mentioned before that the world would be a better (and neater, more organized) place if things would just work the way I feel they should.
I guess I will just have to be the Little Blue Engine and think I can while working on my OCD plans for the world and practicing my "evil" laugh.
Have a great day! HAPPY EASTER!!!

News...
Remember when my fever was rising and I was self-diagnosed with baby fever a few weeks ago.
I don't have to worry about that much longer as it looks like a new mini will be joining us soon!!
KIDDING. HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!!!
I know that was a pathetic attempt at a 4/1 prank or joke. I actually don't really like this holiday and never have had one of those great "I got you" moments
Apparently Blogger is also playing the joke on me. I had this great picture and different post ready to write away, but Blogger won't let me upload any pictures and I NEED THE PICTURE. Every time I try to upload it, it shuts my browser window down. I guess Blogger can have one of those "I got you" moments while once again, me notsomuch.
You all are so sweet and wonderful and instead of a grand affair and I hope you all know this was my silly attempt at a gag. (Which by the way I hate that word.)
It looks like a goal for 2011 will be to perfect the April Fool's fool.
I am not pregnant, but do still have that baby fever. For now, I will just keep snuggling and loving those two precious children that I have. I will definitely keep you posted for real next time.
Today is Mini #1's big Easter egg hunt and bash at school today! We are painting terra cotta pots, planting sunflower seeds, finding eggs, having lunch, and eating cupcakes. Oh what a fun day!
