My sister and I travelled to New York City just 6 months after 9/11. Seeing Ground Zero and looking through the powerful exhibits at St. Paul's Chapel will be images and memories that will always remain with me.

Thank you to all the heroes from this day. My prayers and thoughts are still with all of those people that lost loved ones this day.

ReplyDeleteI have never seen this photo. Not quite sure exactly what happened though. People who got there late put them on the trees? Or are these the shoes they found on people who did not make it out? Either way, it is horrible. We need to remember them.

i've never see that shot before either. although i knew quite a few people that (luckily) walked out of the city that day.
