Just Call Her Scarface!

Meet Scarface (aka Mini #2). Don't mess with her...you should see what she did to the pavement.

Yesterday while playing outside, she just totally faceplanted in to the driveway. Poor thing. This is what our face looks like this morning. Of course, tonight the children have appointments to get their pictures taken.

Now, the question I have for you all is should I take her as scheduled to get her pictures taken tonight or should I cancel the appointment?

Is it going to be funny to remember the scarface incident or will this scar this second child for life?

  1. OMG! Poor thing! I have no real advice for the photos...could they be touched up if you went tonight? I'll email you in a bit!

  3. Oh no! She's still adorable! Could you cover it up with a little makeup? I don't know enough about children to know if you can do that or not.

  5. OH she looks darling either way. Go ahead and take them. What a story to tell her later on. This can be one of those photos that parents get out when b/f is there for embarrassment purposes! haha They can probably do a touch up later! Poor little thing! xoxo

  6. That is so my 2-year-old son! Every time a photo is scheduled at pre-school, he manages to crash into something the day before. The last photo session he had a big bandaid above his eyebrow b/c of stitches. It's up to you, but you may want to go ahead and get the pics taken. It is what it is - little ones take tumbles, so why not document it?

  7. I have a school picture where I have a giant gash across my cheek. I will never forget that it was from my sister throwing a place mat at me while my mom was in the hospital having my little brother. HA HA! I don't even think my parents remember it but I sure do!

  9. Oh I'm so glad my kid is not the only one who looks like this. C has a DENT in his forehead now. An actual DENT from running into a lawn chair. He had an egg sized bump for a week and a half and now he has a dent. I officially win mother of the year!

How'd the photos go?? Did you do it anyway?

  11. Poor thing! I hope you took her to get her picture... if it looks that bad in the photo (which I'm sure it won't) I'm sure you could touch it up. It's a memory either way :)

  12. Our little dude did that on the sidewalk the other day. I don't know how he didn't scrape up his whole face! Your little munchkin is still adorable!
