Mud, Glorious Mud

You know me. Some of you know me well.

Getting dirty and playing in the mud would not appear on the top 1,000 things that I enjoy doing.

I am not ultra prissy, but mud and dirt are not my favorite things.
Picture it: beautiful, almost spring afternoon. The minis and I are having a lovely time frolicking around the yard. There is sidewalk chalk, matchbox cars, bikes, mini bikes, songs, and silliness. The minis start to play together *GASP* and I begin to weed the jungle that has become my beds in front.
I hear them talking and mini #2 laughing. About 15 minutes later, I come around to discover this is what is amusing the youngest monkey so well.

Now pan up to see the full version of the MUD MACHINE that is my daughter. She is soooooooo her father's child.

She HAD a bow in, but it was tossed neatly aside and now covered in the mud to match her attire.
She is always happiest when she is dirty. It's a good thing I saw her come from inside me or else I might think she was switched at birth.
Oh, Happy St. Patrick's Day! Enjoy the green!
PS-see what I mean about the baby leaving her so quickly? She is not a messy baby, but just a MESSY and MUDDY LITTLE GIRL!
