The Monday Stray

I tried to think of some great title for today.

One that would explain my completely random thoughts this morning. Misc. Monday was blah to me this morning and I tried to come up with something brilliant using the words random, haphazard, miscellaneous, arrangement, etc. and nothing.

So, let's stray from composed and well thought out posts and just get it all out.

1-This was the first weekend since September that we haven't had SOMETHING we had to do. Either out of town, visiting Mr. at his home away from home, birthdays, holiday things, weddings, showers for said wedding friends, church activities, etc. Seriously, I was looking back and it has been since Mini #2's birthday. The fall/holidays are so hectic that I was so looking forward to this weekend. There were a few small projects that I wanted to get done around the house, but otherwise last week I kept saying, "we'll do it this weekend." I am more tired today than normal. We worked and did so many random things.

2-Go now, hurry, quick, click your way, internet style run, whatever over to Good Will Grace. There is a brilliant post today that is something I sooooo needed to read. I am going to break my more detailed resolutin' that I did last week in to smaller, monthly goals. This will make it seem less overwhelming and more attainable when broken in a monthly list. Also, I HEART crossing things off of my to do list. Also, Good Will Grace is sure to be fab in 2010. Help get everyone on the bandwagon and make GWG part of your daily blog read.

3-Anyone watch Brothers & Sisters last night? I loved the last scene "He was bond girl in the closet." Hilarious. I have said it before, but I'll say it again, if you don't watch that show, you really should. It has a fantastic cast, brilliant writing, and WHO DOESN'T FIND ROB LOWE TO BE DREAMY??????

4-Brrrr...it is cold. It is supposed to warm up later in the week. Early this morning, Mini #1 wanted to go outside this morning. It was early and he was adament that he needed to get something out of his Jeep (Santa gave him a ride on Jeep. Thanks to Mom's elf help who got in line for it at 3:30 am on Black Friday in order to be able to afford it. You know Santa is in a recession too.) He got his coat, hat, and gloves on over his jammies and headed out. He was back in about 46 seconds later and said "What was I thinking? It is freezing out there."

4-I am only 10 posts and 10 followers away from the big 300. Crazy how that works and quite the coincidence. There will, of course, be a giveaway when we reach 300 posts, but it will be EXPLOSIVE if we can hit both 300s together.

Happy Monday. Have a great day.

Oh poor Mini #1. All this cold is preventing him from playing with his Jeep! I am freezing down here!

  3. I'm feeling mini#1 -- it's too cold outside! We're in the high 30s today, I think.

Sounds like you need a break from your weekend... although it is nice to get things done that have been on the list.

    Have a great week!

  4. Thank you Lord I wasn't the only that died when the Bond girl came out of the closet in B&S yesterday, and when he giggled when he said.."I had my finger on the panic button the whole time!" Ha! I just about fell over I was laughing so hard.

Also, I wanted you to know: I nominated you for the Bloggies! http://2010.bloggies.com/
